Clean Shipping Has a New CEO

Sailcargo is delighted to announce the appointment of our new CEO, Mauricio Ortiz. As the Costa Rican Ambassador to Canada until 2022, Mr. Ortiz has extensive experience across multiple fields that will bring a fresh approach to how we operate.

We are extremely thrilled to officially welcome Mauricio to the Sailcargo story. For the past few years, he has provided Sailcargo with unilateral support and helped us build strong diplomatic connections across the country. It takes special kinds of people to elevate the clean shipping movement and we believe Mauricio is the person to help us get to where we want to be.

We hope with the guidance of Mauricio, and the ongoing commitment displayed by John and Lynx, we will be able to collectively bring you some more definite updates in the coming month. Resolving the Vega situation and preparing for Ceiba´s illustrious exterior planking remain our highest priorities.
