SAILCARGO Purchases New Ship
SAILCARGO INC. has purchased the cargo vessel S/V Vega Gamleby. Vega will sail approximately 148 cubic metres (or 82 tons) of green coffee beans and other dry goods between Colombia and the United States. The Swedish ship will commence her delivery voyage across the Atlantic Ocean in mid-May, 2022. The first cargo will be coffee beans, transported for Canadian coffee importer Café William and will sail in the fourth quarter of 2022.
SAILCARGO INC. UNDERGOES CORPORATE RESTRUCTURING
SAILCARGO INC. undergoes corporate restructuring to promote new projects and increase viability. The new proposed restructure will direct all future investment through SAILCARGO INC., as opposed to issuing shares in Ceiba Inversiones Maritimas S.A or similar companies. This creates an expansive portfolio that ensures the longevity of different projects and guarantees revenue streams for investors.
Launch Preparation Begins With Environmental Impact Assessment
An important part of selecting the lowest impact launch solution is to have a deep understanding of the ground we stand on. To begin we conducted an Environmental Impact Assessment. This report will also be used for permitting and approval from the strict Costa Rican environmental agencies.
Quarter deck beams complete
The quarter deck beams support this rear deck which adds another level to the ship. There is a large house which sits towards the end of the ship which accommodates the captains and officers quarters, an eating area, map room and workshop. The quarter deck is the upper deck which surrounds this deck house. It it took a team of experienced shipwrights to work out the complex curvature of this unique part of the ship.
